Adobe InDesign - Set Up InDesign The Way You Prefer To Work (2.x/3)

Every time you create a new InDesign document, do you immediately change the default Character attributes, such as the font, font size, and leading? What would you say to never have to do that again? All you have to do is change the default settings! For InDesign to use the character attributes of your choosing every time you create a new document, simply launch InDesign without crating a new document. Next, choose Type > Character to show the Character palette. Then, choose your font and font style, font size, leading, and so on. Every time you create a new document, the Character palette will display your settings (until you have to create a new Preferences file). You can do this with all the palettes, so take the time now to set up InDesign the way you prefer.
