Oracle DBMS - Integrating Oracle Reports In Oracle Forms--What Every Developer Must Know
It's hard to find good information on how to integrate Oracle Reports in Oracle Forms from an application developer perspective. Don't worry--we'll discuss the two major ways to make it happen and tell you what caveats you'll need to keep in mind during implementation.
As an application developer using Oracle Forms, it's important that you know how to call Oracle Reports from Forms--and how to do so securely. There are two ways to run a Report from a Form:
- Using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT
- Using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT
